Unlike other summer camps, that typically offer African children English as a second language (ESOL) and leisure activities to make up for their lack of innovative academic content, Redwood Campus students enjoy the best of both worlds.
Our students have 40 hours of study, delivered through an extensive and innovative curriculum, led by qualified, experienced teachers from the Kingham Hill School. In addition to our exciting, hands-on STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and maths) content, we have introduced creative arts modules for a more holistic experience. An A-level and university preparation course has also been created for 15-17 year olds, preparing them for advanced levels of study. The children have lots of time for fun too, with extra-curricular activities, sport, tours, excursions and of course, shopping, which always goes down well!
Redwood Campus is fully residential, with the children boarding on site at Kingham Hill School. A quality menu is provided to ensure they are well fed.
Each child is special to us, and we treat their care and safety seriously. Our chaperones hold chaperone licences and are DBS checked. They are also trained in Safeguarding and First Aid. We also comply with the legal student:chaperone ratio to ensure our students safety.

Soraya thoroughly enjoyed the Redwood Summer camp experience at Kingham Hill, this summer, saying that she ‘learnt a lot and also had a lot of fun at the same time'. The initiative of linking up with another school outside the country, gave her that wider breath of learning, which is so important for independence and critical thinking, that Redwood espouses , and one of the main reason for choosing their Summer Camp Programme.'
When my husband and I decided to have Kojo go to the Redwood Summer Camp, we were very apprehensive because Kojo had never been away from home without family. There were days that we knew he missed home but the assurance of a safe, warm , understanding and supportive environment was very comforting. We know that this experience has certainly enhanced his independence
I definitely recommend Redwood. Their programmes are well organised. I am happy with the way they teach children to apply concepts and to think outside the box
My children attended the Ready Study programme. They talked about so much when they got home! They learned new concepts and subjects and enjoyed making new friends
